1. Group Strategy
KPTM offers excellent teaching and learning for students in accordance with industry needs and student interests. The College is acting proactively to offering quality courses and excellence in the practice management system.
KPTM offers courses at degree, diploma, certificate / preparation and professional in various fields of study such as Computer Science / Information Technology, Business Management, Accounting, Science, Engineering, Nursing and Social Sciences.
These courses are offered through KPTM nine campuses located throughout the country in Kuala Lumpur, Bangi, Alor Setar, Kota Bharu, Batu Pahat, Ipoh, Kuantan, Semporna and Gua Musang.
Besides offering in-house programs (Homegrown), KPTM also offers study programs in collaboration with institutions of higher learning from within and outside the country such as UiTM and Coventry University, United Kingdom.
b. KPTM Corporation
It is a subsidiary KPTM. Its function includes three main areas of Property Development, Supply and Services and Consultancy.

a. to provide the education quality and always meet customer satisfaction with affordable costs
b. KPTM also active role in organizing corporate social responsibility (CSR)
c. KPTM offers excellent teaching and learning for students in accordance with industry needs and student interests.
3. Operation Strategy
a. Increase new students enrolment
Increased enrolment of new students. KPTM consisting of nine (9) campuses as student enrollment has reached 14,000 students. KPTM should make an aggressive campaign to ensure that student enrolment will increase.
b. Develop new programs
Development of new programs to attract students to study at KPTM. These programs must be compatible with market requirements. It is to ensure graduates graduated from KPTM acceptable by the market when they finish their studies. Apart from creating full-time courses of the new, the KPTM was also planning to create short-term courses, part-time courses involving distance education and out-campus study. The existence of these courses is expected to attract more students to study in college in the future.
4. Sources of Revenue
a. Tuition Fees
At present, tuition fees at the diploma is RM2500.00 for one semester while the degree is of RM9000.00 for the tuition fees charged to students each semester.
b. Hostel Rental
For students who stay in hostels, especially in the KPTM Bangi, they have to pay boarding fees of RM150.00 per month.
5. Financial Strategies
1. Diversification of income sources.
At this point KPTM main source of income for the fees charged to students and hostel rent. According to plans made, KPTM will diversify sources of income include rental of premises and facilities at KPTM, consultancy services, publishing scholarly books and advertising. Diversification of income sources is expected to help increase their financial resources.
2. A review of tuition fees and hostel rental.
This planning will be done by creating several new programs in line with market requirements. In addition, the KPTM will upgrade the existing facilities at the hostels.
3. New Campus Development
With the experience and expertise in the field of indigenous education led for 28 years, Kolej Poly-Tech MARA (KPTM) now has eight campuses across the country that is Kuala Lumpur, Bangi, Kuantan, Kota Bharu, Alor Setar, Ipoh, Batu Pahat and Semporna . KPTM-KESEDAR located in Gua Musang District is the second branch campus KPTM operating in rural areas after the Semporna, Sabah, founded in 2010. In the future KPTM plans to open new campuses in Sarawak, Penang, Taiping, Negeri Sembilan, Malacca and Terengganu.
