In today’s business climate of continuous changes and uncertainty, the importance of job satisfaction to organization performance needs to be seen from a new perspective. Organizational need to respond creatively to market forces and so organizational knowledge, and its effective incorporation into the organizations practice, has become a critical issue for business activity. Motivation is the force that makes us do things: this is a result of our individuals needs being satisfied (or met) so we have to inspiration to complete the task. These needs vary from person to person has everybody has their individual needs to motivate themselves. TOPIC INTRODUCTION
Motivation plays its important role in completing project after project, or going from place to place, without giving up and being consistent. Motivation comprises 3 main components.
We start off by deciding what we want, which is our direction as we know where we want to go and what we have to achieve. Then we make an effort towards our goal. We start to do things and we continue our making efforts for some time and give it everything what we have. Many times things don’t give results fast as desired. This is where is role of persistence is the most important. JOB SATISFACTION-
Reintegration of effect produced by individual’s perception of fulfillment of his needs in relation to his work and the situation surrounding it. There are two types of job satisfaction-
Extrinsic job satisfaction- when workers consider the conditions of work such as their pay, coworkers, and supervisors. Intrinsic job satisfaction- when workers consider only the kind of work they do, the tasks that make up the job.
NEED FOR THE STUDY
To understand the changed behavior of an employee by providing them motivation. Motivation can be positive as well as negative also. Motivation in turned result in job satisfaction. HR is one of the most valuable resource of any organization as man, money, material, machine can be replaced after a fixed period of time. But in contrast to this HR is the only resource which whose appreciation value increases as an employee spend more time in any organization. For retaining any employee in the organization job satisfaction is the most important factor. An employee who is completely satisfied with his job will be able to produces a better output than a person who is demotivated and not satisfied with his job.
SCOPE OF THE STUDY
The research help in increase the job satisfaction level of employees which in turn helps in increase the productivity and reducing the cost on recruitment. It also helps in decreasing conflicts between employee and employer and helps an employee in developing itself as a better and fill full in dividend. This study therefore helps in sharpening professional strategies as well as social responsibilities of an organization.
