Chapter  2  –  Perceptions  of  Self  and  Others 1. What  are  the  stages  of  the  perception  process?            1.  Attention/Selection  -­  Perceive  stimuli  in  environment ● Depends  on:  Needs,  Interests,  Expectations            2.  Organization  -­  converting  the  information  we  receive,  trying  to  make  sense  of  the          information. ● Simplicity-­ ● Pattern-­  trying  to  find  a  theme  or  pattern.            3.  Interpretation-­  trying  to  find  out  what  you  are  perceiving  really  means. 2.
